This scholarship is to recognize any senior volleyball player or team manager who is furthering their education by attending a university, college, community college, technical school, culinary or fine arts academy. Awards will be announced during the banquet, for their athletic abilities as well as their academic accomplishments.

Amount of scholarships and number of awards are determined upon monies available for the year. In past years, award money has equaled $1,000.00. A tiered award structure may be implemented, distributing funds according to applicant merit and the available budget for the year. Please note that the number of awards granted and their respective amounts are subject to annual variation, and receipt of an award is not guaranteed. All applicants’ submission shall be reviewed by non-senior parents and without identification of the candidate for a fair review, following UIL and Round Rock Booster Club Guidelines.

The scholarships are based on the following:

• Parent or guardian must be an active booster club member for each year the student is in the volleyball program.
• Academic Achievement
• Community Service Hours
• Extra-Curricular Activities
• Leadership Roles
• Two Letters of Recommendation from a non-family member
• Student must not have any major disciplinary referrals.
• Student will be asked to write a short essay.
• The essay word count should be at least 250 words and a maximum of 750 words.
• Scholarships will be given out at the banquet and at the Banquet and possibly the Senior Awards Night.
• Scholarship checks will be made payable to the accredited institution in the student’s name once the “Confirmation of Enrollment” form is completed and turned in.
